McKibben promotes Big Business not Solar Energy

Big business, big government and the media are steering
the public away from the best uses of solar energy
towards subsidized uses most profitable to big business.  
Look how it works.  Mother Jones page 71 December 04
publishes Bill McKibben’s article promoting subsidies for
photovoltaic panels.  Mother Jones also sells the inside
back cover to Shell Solar who is supported by the same
subsidies.
Lets see an article on solar not spattered by tax payers
blood.  I’d suggest clotheslines, the proper placement of
skylights and windows and energy conservation.  Instead
of encouraging just big business solar as McKibben does,
why not encourage all uses of the sun by attacking the
subsidies to coal, oil, gas and nuclear which compete with
the sun.
